Afridi XI are riding on the right sequence this fifth season of the KBSC Premier League Rainbow Cup and no one can question their ability to give a strong title challenge after finishing runners up last season.

They haven't lost their "killer instinct" and Hunza Warriors was another victim of their rather unforgiving applications in the game on yet another free scoring night. The win put them second in group B on 12 points

Temoor Mirza's undefeated 64 from 22 balls got the scoreboard moving before he was out caught by Asif Shar but even then, batting at number five, Amir Sheema scored 62 not out from 23 balls on the way of a 211in another Afridi classic innings.

With pressure mounting on Hunza Warriors, Afridi bowlers were at it as wickets fell courtesy of Suleiman Sharif's standout play with the ball grabbing 3 wickets. Hunza Warriors Waseem Abal topscored for the bottom placed side in Group B (29 off 20 balls) as Afridi won by 120 runs Sunday night at Lugogo oval.

Meanwhile, Keswhala secured the fastest win in the night cricket showpiece when they sealed off a 9 wickets win against Azam XI  . After posting 51 in 16 overs, it took Keshwala 3 overs to hit the target courtesy of Ankil Patel's 16 from 7 balls not out.

Action resumes tonight as Keshwala Boys seek a third win in Group B gainst Lohana Xi
