Parliament pays tribute to fallen Iganga MP

Parliament Yesterday paid tribute to the fallen Woman Member of Parliament for  Iganga District Haliat Grace Kawudha.

The late passed waya last weekend after succumbing to pregnancy complications at Kawempe hospital.

The motion to eulogize the deceased was last evening tabled  by the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda who expressed the need to improve antenatal and postnatal services in the country.

Presenting a report highlighting the cause of death, the minister of state for primary health care, Joyce  Moriku informed Parliament that the deceased had not got antenatal care.
