Mbabazi named Onduparaka head coach in staff shake up

Assistant coach and goalkeeping coach Francis Mugerwa and Eddie Kaweesa have also been relieved of their duties

 

Onduparaka Football Club has reshuffled its technical team with veteran coach Leo Adraa who has been the head coach being appointed head of technical affairs.

Adraa's deputy Livingstone Mbabazi will now be the coach of the team.

Assistant coach and goalkeeping coach Francis Mugerwa and Eddie Kaweesa respectively have been relieved of their duties.

Moses Oloya who has been with the Somalia national team takes over as thegoalkeeping coach while the post of the assistant coach is likely to be filled before the end of the week.

Team doctor Jack Walugembe has been replaced by Merlin Beatrice who will be assisted by Gorge Vudri.

On the same note, the club has also released eight players.

These are Nisar Kasim, Fahad Toko, Hamza Olema, Douglas Chombe, Babu Iddi, Mahad Kiseeka, Akram Kakembo and Joshua Matovu.

Gerard Lipot and Emmanuel Olinga could secure loan moves to get more playing time.  

The West Nile side has so far signed seven new players; Aggrey Kirya, Karim Ndugwa, Rashid Okocha, Allan Busobozi, goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato, Bob Kasozi, Rajab Kakooza and Vianney Ssekajugo.​
