Micho impressed by attitude in Cranes camp

Cranes take on South Sudan this Friday in Juba

CHAN Qualifier: South Sudan v Uganda

Uganda Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic has praised the commitment of his players ahead the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against South Sudan this Friday in Juba.

Micho made the remarks after taking the team through a two-hour training session at Namboole Stadium on Tuesday morning.

"I am satisfied by the way players are conducting themselves because it is not easy to come from such a tight competitive season but I need to appreciate them for the hard work, commitment and dedication exhibited during today's session," Micho said.

The winner between South Sudan and Uganda will face the winner between Rwanda and Tanzania in the next round.

After the South Sudan double header, Cranes will turn attention to Egypt for a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at home in August.

Team resumes training this afternoon at Namboole.

Defenders:  Nicholas Wadada Wakiro, Timothy Awanyi, Bernard Muwanga, Savio Kabugo, Rashid Toha, Paul Musamali, John Adriko.
