Western region names team to face Uganda Cranes

Western Regional Football Association has named a provisional squad of 21 players that will face the Cranes in the regional tour next month.
Kisugu United FC coach Vialli Bainomugisha will handle the team that starts residential training on July 3rd.
This will be Cranes second tour of the Western region having made the first one in 2014. Cranes beat Kitara region at the Buhinga stadium in Fort Portal in their last tour in May.
Emmanuel Okwi notched a double before Nelson Senkatuka added the other for the national side. Beckam Musoki scored a consolation for the home side.
Coach Milutin Sredojevic will be expected to name the Uganda Cranes team soon. Cranes are preparing to face South Sudan in a two legged CHAN 2018 first round qualifier next month. Thereafter they will face Egypt in August at home in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Kampala.
