Prayers were held Sunday at various locations across the country as Muslims celebrated the end of the holy month of Ramadhan.
Eid-el-Fitr prayers started in high gear at the National Mosque at Old Kampala, with Muslims starting to stream in early. But before gaining access to the place of worship, they had to through a thorough security ring

Meanwhile, some of the women from Jamia Main mosque said that this time, they have failed to organise pilau because of poor arrangements. The chairperson of the women group, Fatuma Apio, said they failed to make contribution for the usual party but said they will organise the main one next time
