Over 100 tertiary institutions face closure

In a circular spelling out tough conditions for offering higher education, the education watchdog said tertiary institutions that will not have upgraded their provisional licenses will be closed without further notice.

TERTIARY institutions which will not have upgraded from the Provisional licenses to Classification, in the next six months, will be shut, the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) has said.

He has just scooped his second gold medal in the two consecutive years, in the regional technology competitions-the GISUTECH Competition 2017. The event was held at the end of last month.
