The bishop of South Ankole Diocese Nathan Ahimbisibwe has confirmed 202 Christians of All Saints COU in Kyamate Deanery after undergoing a six-month training course.

This was during Bishop Ahimbisibwe's first pastoral visit of the year.

Ntungamo All Saints COU vicar Rev. Ronald Kunywana and his curate Rev. Aggrey Ainamaani organized the bishop's visit alongside the dean of St. Matthew Cathedral Kyamate  Rev. Can. Joash Tushangomujuni.

During the service, Christians raised sh6.7m towards the construction of the South Ankole Diocese Community Mission Hospital.

In his sermon, Ahimbisibwe advised the newly confirmed Christians to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior if they want to succeed in this world.

He told them that if they don't, Satan is ready to fight them since they have been confirmed as full Christians.

The bishop also urged Anglican faithful to stick to their religion and to keep praying for spiritual healing from the Lord.

Meanwhile, he told the people of Ntungamo Municipality to keep their town clean, saying that "cleanliness is next to Godliness". He promised that his team from the diocese would start working closely with the town clerk in an exercise of cleaning Ntungamo clean every Wednesday.

Ahimbisibwe also urged Christians to plant trees to as to get rain, as well as plant fruit trees in their farms and compounds to help enrich their health.
