Paw paws prices up, apples price stable

The prices of pawpaw in most Kampala Markets has gone up.
Acccording to Salim Moses, a vendor at Nakasero Market, prices range from sh5, 000 to sh2, 000 depending on size.
Hanifa Nassali, a vendor at the same market attributes the scarcity to the rainy season.
According to Nassali, the rainy season affects pawpaws.
David Musoke says the price of an apple is determined by its colour. There is also a steady study supply of apples on the market making the prices stable.
A box of green apples costs sh140, 000, a tray goes for sh30, 000. An apple is sold at sh1, 000.
A box of red apples is sold at sh145,000.
