Luweero woman, aged 60, goes missing

Police in Bombo have intensified the search for a business woman who has been missing for 7 days.

Margret Namembwa, 60, disappeared from her daughter's home in Bombo town on May 13, 2017 and her family has failed to locate her.

"Our mum disappeared from Home. We have looked in all the places we think she might be but we cannot find her. From the description from the people who saw her, she was seen boarding a taxi to Kampala," said Joseph Kiva, a lecturer at Uganda Christian University.

Kiva says that his mother had been discharged from a Hospital in Bwebajja-Namulundu Medical Centre where she had been admitted for five days. "Mum had some mental distress but after showing improvement, we picked her from hospital and took her back home. She was supposed to go back for review, but she just walked away from home. We do not know where she went," noted Kiva.

Namembwa has been running business in owino market.
