KCCA beat Lweza 2-0 at home to seal the 2016/17 Uganda Premier League.

Tom Masiko and Geoffrey Sserunkuma each scored a penalty in the second half to help KCCA seal what is their 12th league title.

KCCA defender Timothy Awany was sent off in the final minutes of the game.

KCCA are now on 60 points, eight ahead of second placed SC Villa, an unassailable lead with two games left to play this season.

Elsewhere, Express defender Vincent Onyebuchi was rushed to the hospital after suffering a broken leg.

The match was then aborted in 47th minute  with Proline leading the Red Eagles 2-0 at Wankulukuku Stadium when the home fans started pelting one of the assistant referees with stones.

Vipers thrashed Onduparaka 4-1 at St Mary's Stadium with Erisa Ssekisambu notching a double before Brian Nkuubi and Tony Odur added the others for Vipers. Dickens Okwir scored a consolation for Onduparaka.

In Bombo, Saints beat Soana 2-0 but in a match where Soana coach Alex Isabirye and player Geoffrey Ssimbwa were sent off.
