Arua secondary wins West Nile football tournament

The team that was runner up in the district championship beat Nyangilia to win the trophy for the first time in their recent history.

 
Arua secondary school stake holders joined excited staff and students in parading their recent West Nile post primary football trophy along the streets of Arua town.
 
The team that was runner up in the district championship beat Nyangilia to win the trophy for the first time in their recent history.
 
They are also set to represent the region with two other schools in the national championships.
 
"I'm very happy for what we have been doing and for what we have achieved. I also managed to get a medal," said Ivan, one of the players.
 
"We're confident that come May 6th during the national championships, we are going to perform well," said Sentama Michael, a teacher.
