Kenyan motocross team arrives

Kenya has sent a strong motocross team of riders that will challenge Uganda in the FIM Central Africa motocross championship on Saturday and Sunday in Busiika Luweero district.

The Kenyan team started arriving for the regional event today and will be training on the track with Ugandans this evening.

Their strength is in the 85 and MX125 classes  where they have big numbers.

The team has four riders in the MX125 and ten in the MX85cc category.

Uganda will face it tough in the 85cc where Ben Nsumba, Wazir Omar, Waleed Omar, Stav Orland and Fortune Ssentamu will battle the Kenyans who include Peter Magwa, Zenni Glen, Dekker Kihara, Dylan Mutahi, Samuel Magwa Tai Wahome, James Luusa, Vince Schrier, Mali Nyachae and Atete Benzinge.

In the MX125 Ugandan riders Ali Omar, Alestair Blick, Paddy Blick and Sharifah Kateete will take on Kenyans Rolf Kihara, Kigen Kiplagat, Ethan Nyachae and Kiprop Kandie.

Uganda is the defending champion having won the overall trophy last year in Nairobi.
