Kabojja teacher injured in freak transformer accident

In a very unusual way, a teacher at Kabojja International School has escaped death when an electric transformer collapsed and hit her vehicle along Dewinton Road in Kampala.

Rose Ssebaggala has been rushed to Mulago Hospital in critical condition.

According to an eye witnesses the woman had just dropped her son when the incident happened.

Richard Kigozi said when her mother dropped him for work, he suddenly heard something fall and on rushing to the scene a transformer had fallen on his mother's car and she was yearning for help.

The assistant commissioner of police in charge of fire brigade, Hassan Kihanda, said they rushed to the scene for rescue.
