Kabaka's Birthday Run

Vision Group's CEO Robert Kabushenga handed over kits to PostBank executive director Alex Kayaayo and his staff ahead of the Kabaka Birthday run on April 9

  

PostBank is the latest corporate company to honour Vision Group's CEO Robert Kabushenga call for corporates to emulate Gotv and join the fourth edition of the Kabaka Birthday run on April 9, in Kampala.

Kabushenga made the call last week after Gotv bought 200 tickets for the annual event and indeed on Monday PostBank followed suit buying 300 tickets for its clients and employees.

Kabushenga handed over the kits to PostBank executive director Alex Kayaayo and his staff at the company offices on Nkrumah Road in Kampala.

"We are very thankful to Post bank which has supported the Kabaka birthday run since we started and we call on all others to emulate them," Kabushenga said.

"In this cause, we benefit by celebrating the Kabaka's birthday,  fight sickle cells disease and enjoy as we run for our health.  I challenge you to personally run on that day," Kabushenga stressed as he handed over a T-shirt, water bottle and bag to PostBank's Kayaayo on Monday.

Kayaayo promised continued support and thanked the Kabaka and Buganda for inviting them to be part of the noble cause.

The proceeds of the annual run will this time go towards fighting sickle cells disease.

Tickets for the Kabaka birthday Run go for only sh10,000 and can be got at Vision Group offices, Airtel Wampewo, Post Bank branches in Ndeeba, Jinja Road, Kikuubo and Nkrumah road branches.  

The annual event is sported by Airtel, Rwenzori Water and Postbank.
