In the two week visit, teachers and school going children will be equipped in numerous fields

With Uganda still battling high rates of HIV infection across the country, a team of seven officials from the United Kingdom under Cricket Without Boundaries, a charity and cricket development program, are in the country to create awareness through cricket.

The two week visit will cover areas of Masaka, Entebbe and Masindi where they will be carrying out cricket training and festivals as well as educating teachers and school going children about the deadly HIV/AIDS.

The officials are Greg Mackett, Clive Hawthorn, Sarajane Marchant, Clare Sanderson, Julie Fielder, Isaac Malkani and Anthony Statham.

"There is a lot of excitement from the young people who are learning more about the game, they are taken through theories and the general basics of the game.

At least the people of Masaka where they are at the moment can't have enough of the visitors" said Emmanuel Isaneez" the Cricket Without Boundaries ambassador in Uganda.

The Cricket Without Boundaries operates annually in five sub-Saharan Africa countries; Uganda, Rwanda, Botswana, Cameroon and Kenya.
