AFCON: Micho releases detailed Cranes buildup plan
Nov 24, 2016
"This is a detailed plan but all that we have planned will go to the dustbin if support for it does not come in time."
Coach Micho Sredejovic (pictured) has released a comprehensive Uganda Cranes preparation plan for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
The schedule includes international friendly matches and training camps in Dubai, Tunisia and Libya respectively next month.
The coach and his team have been receiving bonuses from State House for their good work that ensured Uganda's return to the AFCON finals after a no-show of nearly four decades.
For the build-up plan, Micho has appealed to the government to bankroll the plan in time if they should succeed in Gabon.
"This is a detailed plan but all that we have planned will go to the dustbin if support for it does not come in time," he said.
The Serb has already started on a comprehensive training programme that will see the team camp in Tunisia and Dubai before flying to Gabon in 2017.
