'There is space in Usafi for street vendors'

The minister in charge of Kampala, Beti Kamya, has toured Usafi Market to ascertain its current state and to also establish whether there is space to accommodate the street vendors who were recently evicted from the streets.

Usafi markets vendors have asked street vendors to join them. According to them, there is enough space to accommodate all of them.

They complained of low sales which they attributed to the street vendors who take away their potential customers.
