Moroto woman commits suicide

A 53-year-old woman in Moroto district on Tuesday evening committed suicide. 

Helen Angolere, a resident of Acholi Inn in Rupa Sub County hang herself under a tree within her compound after developing misunderstandings with her family. 

According to the acting Moroto District Police Commander, Edson Turyamomwe, much as the core cause of the suicide is yet to be known, alcohol influenced the move. 

He urged the community to standby their depressed relatives to avoid repetition of such unfortunate incidences.
