Uganda mourns former MP Nsambu

Former MP Yusuf Nsubuga Nsambu has died. Nsambu passed on at Norvik Hospital in Kampala.

The former legislator for Makindye West constituency, Kampala, lawyer and Conservative Party leader served in the Constituent Assembly, the Sixth and Seventh Parliament.

He was replaced by Hussein Kyanjo in 2006. Nsambu also served as Buganda Kingdom 2nd Deputy Prime Minister Katikkiro and Minister for Heritage, Royal Tombs and Tourism.

"I don't have the language with which to negotiate with President Yoweri  Museveni. I am trying as much as possible to find money so that Buganda secedes from the rest of Uganda because the Land (Amendment) Bill, 2007 is targeting Buganda."
