A prominent born-again pastor in Mukono has been thrown out of the Church premises by court for indulging in fraud.

High Court Judge Justice Basaza Wasswa on Wednesday ordered Bishop Samuel Lwandasa to vacate the Church Premises where he has served as a senior pastor for the last 20 years.

The move came after the Judge discovered that the man of God, Lwandasa had fraudulently converted the Church's land tittle into his names.

The directors of United Methodists Church of Uganda in 2008 dragged Lwandasa and the case has been dragging on since then. Cases of this nature are common in Uganda.

The plaintiff submitted that in 1994, they hired Lwandasa as a pastor in the church to shepherd the flock but that he turned around and registered the Church and its land into his names in 2001.  Read the details of this story in Sunday Vision
