Premier League: Kirinya 0 Sadolin 0

Sep 07, 2016

A stalement as visiting Sadolin hold Kirinya.

It was a goalless affair at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe as Sadolin Paints FC held Kirinya Jinja SS FC in an Azam Premier League derby.

The result means that Tuesday's visitors, Sadolin, have failed to score in their first three games this season and have amassed three points.

Ogik Norman squandered a chance to give the traveling side the lead when he blasted wide early in the opening half.

The home side nearly got the opener in a free flowing game towards the end of 45 but a thunderous strike kissed off the bar to deny Kirinya.

After restart, it was back to two-way traffic as the visitors sustained their pressure against a resilient home defence.

Safi Basani missed a clear-cut opportunity 15 minutes to the end of the game as an opener appeared ever likely.

But both sides had to share the spoils in an entertaining Tuesday early evening derby.

While Sadolin have managed to pick up three points in three games, Kirinya have one less from the same number of games.

Next up, Sadolin will play Police FC while Kirinya will travel to Soana FC.
