A selection of pictures on and off the turf as Uganda storms Gabon 2017

Uganda finally made it back to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals after 38 years of waiting when they beat Comoros 1-0 at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Sunday.

As you would expect, such big games are peppered with colour, excitement and eventual merry-making (upon victory). It was all about The Cranes as all roads led to Namboole on a day of mixed weather patterns: shine, rain and shine!
