Bad Black turns to God

City socialite Shanita Namuyimbwa a.k.a 'Bad Black' on Sunday attended prayers at the Miracle Centre Cathedral in Rubaga, Kampala.

Pastor Robert Kayanja of the Miracle Centre Cathedral prayed for Namuyimbwa, who was accompanied by her son, Jonathan.

Namuyimbwa was in July 2012 sentenced to a four-year jail term for embezzling $3.9m from a company she jointly owned with her ex-lover, a British engineer, David Greenhalgh.

Namuyimbwa was released from Luzira Prisons on March 14 this year. She says she had found God while serving her sentence in Luzira Prisons.
