Team Uganda in high spirits

"We are doing well and we expect good results," team captain Maxime Van Pee stated.

Action in the FIM Africa Nations Motocross Championship started this morning with Uganda riders doing well in the practice section.

With the temperatures just like in Kampala and the track dusty, Uganda team is finding no difficulty so far and according to training times posted its South Africa that may be a threat to Uganda.

 

Kenya boosts of a big number, but Uganda's Isabella blick, the Orland brothers Stav,Aviv and Alon brothers are doing well just as the Veterans class of Asaf Natan, Arthur Blick Jr and Barak Orland were in top four positions during practice lap one, a sign of good performance.

 

"We are doing well and we expect good results," team captain Maxime Van Pee stated despite his bike getting mechanical problems that the South African mechanics are fixing.

Gift Ssebuguzi got a set back as he was stopped from competing because of the loud sound his bike was emitting that violated the noise pollution code. He was advised to change the exhaust pipe before the competition time.

 

Five countries are competing in the event; they include Uganda, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana and hosts Kenya.
