Despite injuring his right ankle, national motocross team captain Maxime van Pee is focused on winning a medal for Uganda in the FIM Africa Nations Motocross Championship at Jamhuri Park Nairobi on August 19-21.
The rider injured his ankle last week while training at Jamhuri track which will host the continental event.

The FIM Africa Nations championship attracts top riders from South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Ivory Coast, Uganda and Kenya.
"I wish I could recover so quickly and I do some training before heading for the event, but I have all the confidence," said Van Pee.
He said Uganda has a strong team and is capable of winning the overall championship just as it was in 2012 at Busiika.
