Flex D'Paper releases most personal song to date

Jun 17, 2016

He has released a couple of songs before that have done very well according to Ugandan Hip Hop standards but he has never released any song that’s better than his latest Day Ones which features his mentor Navio and Airportaxi singer Martha Smallz.

Uganda has so many budding rappers and they sound really good and one of them is Flex D'Paper aka Alex Kwesigabo, a young man originally from Kabale. He has released a couple of songs before that have done very well according to Ugandan Hip Hop standards but he has never released any song that's  better than his latest Day Ones which features his mentor Navio and Airportaxi singer Martha Smallz. It is produced by Aethan, recorded, mastered and mixed by Sam Lamara of Talent Africa.

We talked to him about this single and this is what he told us;

"Day Ones I was an idea I got as a dedication to all the people that have been holding me down. Just like the word day ones means, this song is for the people that have been there for me from the start during my ups and downs but still stayed real with me"

The video is apparently a big budget video and he is talking to Nigeria's Clarence Peters to shoot it as Flex is focused on conquering Africa.

Good luck mate.
