All set for Abel Dhaira Marathon

The Abel Dhaira memorial marathon will be held on Hero's Day. 

According to organiser Fasial Mayemba the routes will start from Jinja SSS where the late Dhaira studied from for six years.

They will proceed to Nalufenya Road then turn to Gabula Road, Bell Avenue-Main Street, Engineer Zikusooska Road to Walukuba-Masese, Kyabazinga Road, Wagiona to Kilembe and to Masese Road and to the Stadium for the 10km race.

For the 5km race they will begin from the school to Gabula Road to Walukuba Health Center III and then to the mosque in Walukuba East using Walubuka Road then back to the Abel Dhaira Stadium.

Tickets in Jinja are being sold at Smart Guy, Trans-Africa Jinja, Chicken PAPA, NBS Radio, Igar Petrol Station and Airtel Uganda on Main Street.

Rebecca Kadaga the Speaker of Parliament is expected as the chief runner.
