Teenage Hadebe struck twice in the first half

Zimbabwe 2 Uganda 0

The Uganda Cranes have gone down 2-0 to Zimbabwe in an international friendly match at Rufaro Stadium in Harare.

Teenage Hadebe struck twice in the first half in a match that served as a warm up for Saturday's AFCON qualifier against Botswana.

Cranes custodian Denis Onyango and midfielder Faruku Miya did not play the match and weren't even on the bench altogether.

German based debutant Melvyn Lorenzen who hit the post with a brilliant curling effort remains doubtful for the encounter against Bostwana.

Hassan Wasswa Mawanda was preferred in midfield alongside Orlando Pirates' Yassar Mugerwa and William Luwagga Kizito.

Lorenzen, team captain Geoffrey Massa and Emmanuel Okwi led the attack for Micho Sredojevic's side.
