The female rally driver Leila Blick Mayanja is ready to challenge the men in the Mountains of the Moon rally in Fort Portal on Saturday and Sunday.

Leila told New Vision after receiving sh6m sponsorship from Mountain of Fire church and School in Kirinya Bweyogerere to prepare for the event that is the fourth round of the National rally championship (NRC.

"With this sponsorship, the men should be ready for the girl," Leila stated.

"In Masaka we lost because of the steering wheel but now everything is going to be fixed and we want to reclaim the points lost in Masaka," she added.

Church administrator Janat Magambo said that supporting Leila Blick was one of the church's projects to inspire women in sports.
