In History: Uganda Railways interdicts senior managers

This came in the wake of Parliament’s recommendations that URC Managing Director Enos Tumusiime should lose his job for alleged mismanagement and corruption in the Corporation.

 

Uganda Railways Board interdicted four senior financial managers and officers who included the Corporation's Financial Controller, Joseph Nyekwaso, the Lock-Shed Master, James Ssebaduka, the Resident Representative of URC in Mombasa, Milton Kandole and the Senior Accountant at the Goods Shed, Michael Kikawa due to a sustained financial mismanagement in the Corporation of millions of money and an over 10bn/= debt.

This came in the wake of Parliament's recommendations that URC Managing Director Enos Tumusiime should lose his job for alleged mismanagement and corruption in the Corporation.
