17-year old invents machine to aid the disabled

Luka Deng was inspired by a 7-year-old boy without hands

As this year started, the 17-year-old Luka Deng was part of the group of students of Galaxy International School Uganda that paid a visit to Kampala School of the Disabled.

One thing in sight that captured his attention most was a seven-year-old boy without hands.

But unlike any other sympathizer, Deng, a South-Sudanese national living in Uganda, he started working out a solution to lend him a hand.

Details of this student's invention alongside his colleagues can be found be in Wednesday's New Vision. Don't miss you copy of Mwalimu.
