Seeta High wins Mukono regional basketball championship

Seeta High School green campus beat Namilyango College School 49-26 to win the Mukono region schools Basketball championship over the weekend.

The win enabled Seeta High Green campus to qualify for the national basketball games after 14-years of trying.

"We have tried for 14-years all in vain but we didn't give up and finally we have qualified for the national games this year," Obbo stated.

Father Musoke of Namilyango who led the mass at the school campus on Kayunga road urged schools to give children opportunity to exercise their talents because it is from these sporting activities that some may get their future.

Over thirty schools including Seroma High, Namilyango College, St. Joseph Nagalama, Our lady of Africa and Seeta High Seeta and Mbalala Campus competed in the event  at the Seeta High Green Campus.
