Brian Masaba plundered an amazing six wickets for just 20 runs as Aziz Damani claimed their sixth straight victory on a day of no surprises in the Division 2 UCA 50-Over National League.

Masaba's 6/20 in 10 overs was another milestone in a season that is piling them up for division-leading Damani, who easily dispatched Mwiri en route to a six-wicket win at Entebbe on Sunday.

Damani have been untouchable this year and this was another outing with a straightforward ending. Arnold Otwani scored a match-best 61 and Masaba added 13 runs for Damani, winners of the toss who chose to bowl and restricted Mwiri to 96 in 30 overs.

Damani, who also had Sarfaraz Chunara claim 3/9 in three overs, completed the chase with 35 overs to spare.

At Kyambogo, Africa returned to winning ways with a 61-run triumph over Jinja SS. The victory was founded on Emmanuel Odeng (29 runs), Michael Kintu (12 runs and 3/10) and Timothy Erumuka (3/13).

Saidi Mugwana (5/31 in 10 overs), Derrick Bwire (3/34 in 8.3 overs) gave Jinja a chance but their poor batting response proved decisive. Calvin Watuwa (29 runs) and Mugwana (13 runs) were Jinja's scorers of note.

At Lugogo, Charity secured their fourth win of the season after a 99-run beating of SKLPS. Varinder Singh blasted 59 off 42 while Jonathan Sebanja contributed an unbeaten 35 runs for Charity, who set 163/5 in 20 overs. In response, Mansukh Gorasiya and Pritesh Jesani scored 23 and 13 runs respectively for SKLPS. Singh claimed 4/3 in four overs.
