Uganda's presidential contenders have held final rallies in different parts of the country for the final comb ahead of Thursday February 18 general polls.

Hundreds of party enthusiast thronged Kololo to grace the rally. FDC's Dr. Kizza Besigye campaigned in Nakawa Division in Kampala and his final rally at Naguru.

Independent candidate Amama Mbabazi started his day in Wakiso, Entebbe and his final rally at Makerere University Freedom Square. Other candidates were also on last minute vote hunt.

Tuesday, a day after opposition supporters clashed with police leaving at least one dead.

Supporters were seen riding motorbikes, waving tree branches and blowing whistles and horns in support of their candidates.
