Mbabazi where have you been this long

It is really a shaming for a person like Mbabazi to boldly say he can free us from 30 years captivity, yet he has been one of the few Ugandans who had the luxury of serving in many high positions in the government of Uganda

When he was in Budaka for his presidential campaigns, Amama Mbabazi said that he will free Uganda from 30 years of captivity. We all know that Mbabazi is among the people who started with the NRM government in 1986, and he has been in big positions for 28 years, where has he been to help people from that captivity?

Mbabazi to come out at this time, it is an action portrainying him as seeking cheap popularity for self-interest. Why does he need to come at this time of election and claim that he cares a lot about the people?

It is really a shaming for a person like Mbabazi to boldly say he can free us from 30 years captivity, yet he has been one of the few Ugandans who had the luxury of serving in many high positions in the government of Uganda but there is no evidence to show that he ever gave anything positive to the people of Uganda apart from dominating in corruption scandals .

For example, in 2013, Uganda's Auditor General found that €10 million ($13.4 million) of foreign aid had been funneled into personal bank accounts linked to workers in the Office of the Prime Minister, where Mbabazi was a top figure, leading the UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark to suspend foreign aid to Uganda.

The Uganda government was forced to repay the money that had been embezzled in what has become the "OPM scam".

A few years later, Mbabazi's name featured in what came to be known as "Temangalo scandal". This scandal that began in February 2008 involved him when he was security minister alongside businessman Amos Nzeyi and the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) top executives among others.

Mbabazi should have faith to the people because even whatever it is Ugandans have been watching over him and his name can be identified for some other issues other than helping people and he has a tight rope to walk.

To me Mbabazi is just a green snake in the green grass, it is hard to be understood whereby it can bite and poison people indirectly.  This is because you cannot be compassionate about people now when you had all the chances of improving their lives instead he did the negative.

Him to say that he was working under directives from the President, why is it that there even State Ministers who have come up to fight for the people using their powers ?

From being an Attorney General, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Presidency, Security and finally the Prime Minister, does it mean that he just he was a shadow minister.

Even though to work under directives, but for 28 years, even in different ministries and you do not resign? Mbabazi a full lawyer who knows the duties of any government worker and if he failed to deliever in the 28 years, how can we trust him.

He said that he want to work on the education sector, I remember one time when the teacher were demonstrating about salary increment, Mbabazi in his capacity as a Prime Minister, Mbabazi said that if they don't want the job, they should go. This was a sign of being heartless and not compassionate to the education sector.

When he was in Luwero for his campaigns, Mbabazi said that the government had delayed to pay the veterans. For period he spent as the Security Minister and the Prime Minister, what did he do to make sure that the veterans could be paid? Let him tell the people what he has done and what has failed to do in all his term in the big offices.

Presidential aspirants who are yearning to grab the seat, they should prove to us how committed they have been to transform the social, economical behaviors of the people.

For us to sympathize Mbabazi for the true support, he should tell us what he did in power to chance the situation of the people, he should give us the solution not the problem because he has been in the government for 28years he had all the time and opportunities to demonstrate his will and.
