The Uganda Body Building and Fitness Association could host one of the biggest events in the body building world after Ivan Byekwaso's recent success at the International Natural Bodybuilding Association (INBA) World championships
.

But for this to happen, Byekwaso who won gold in the 175cm short men body building category to claim the Mr. Universe title in Austin Texas last week will also have to win the World Cup natural body building event due November 7 in San Diego and the Natural Olympia that follows thereafter in Las Vegas, November 12-15.

And Byekwaso and his sponsors Pemba Sports Africa, are not leaving anything to chance. The 32 year old muscleman will soon set off to the US to continue preparations with one of the top body building trainers in Las Vegas, Kaspar Lorenzo, who was only monitoring him before his Mr. Universe win.

"If he wins the next two competitions we can bring the world cup contest  to Kampala, because once we have those medals we shall be the holders, so next competition we can host and have over 1000 competitors and fans coming to Uganda for the championship," Jackson Pemba Byekwaso's sponsor said.

"If this happens it will generate a lot of money for the country and also benefit the country in terms of publicity worldwide. That is why we need support from the president, the ministry, NCS and everyone so that we can bring the world cup home," "In three weeks' time we shall be in California where we shall also meet movie director Ian Deere who will also introduce Ivan to the movie industry in the US," Pemba added.
