POLICE is hunting for unidentified thugs who raided the premises of Feel for Health Uganda an NGO in Rubaga division, Kampala District and stole property including cash

 

Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Patrick Onyango said the stolen items include; three cars, two Toyota double cabins registration numbers UAT 364J and UAW 779J and a Ford Ranger registration number  UAH 088P.

 

Others are eight desk computers, two digital Sony cameras worth sh5.78m and an undisclosed sum of money

 

“Investigations are ongoing and we have since recovered the guard’s gun and uniform that were taken,” Onyango said.

 

He requested whoever has information about the cars or thugs to report to the nearest police station.

 

Security guard Moses Okello who was on duty, when the robbers struck, narrated that at around 1am unidentified persons jumped over the fence and rushed to one of the rooms where one Emmanuel Sseguya slept.

 

“The masked men grabbed and tied us up with ropes as they demanded for the office keys. We were whipped but refused to hand over the keys,” he said.

 

He added that after a few minutes, he heard cars driving out of the gate.
