Despite Saturdays’s heavy rainfall, the Bride and Groom Expo started on a high with a very big crowd. According to Cynthia Nankumba, the Editor Bride and Groom Magazine the crowd was bigger than that of last year.

The day was crowned with a fashion show that left the crowd yearning for more. To be more specific, it was the ladies that got the bigger bargain. It's not every day we see under wear male models grace Ugandan Catwalks.

Day two is in high gear with exhibitors giving away various gifts at their stalls. It’s not too late to win as long as you get in time.

Darling Uganda is giving away packages; Kenya Airways has topped their give away. They are giving away  two tickets plus accommodation. Let's Go Travel is giving away two Honey moon packages to two couples to Malindi and Mombasa.

Guys stop worrying about the World Cup, Neymar won't be there when you are struggling with footing the wedding bill. Make use of the discounts while you can.

The good news is that at the Expo you can plan your wedding in a day and enjoy the rest of the World Cup and the upcoming Premier League without the hustle.

Security is very tight just in case you are worried about Alshabaab. The same goes for the rest of you who think they can sneak in without paying Sh.7000.
