KAMPALA - President Yoweri Museveni has held a meeting with the visiting Russia’s deputy minister of foreign affairs, Gennady Gatilov.
The meeting took place Friday at State House, Nakasero.
According to a brief Presidential Press Unit statement, Museveni and his guest discussed issues pertaining to bilateral interest between Uganda and the Russian Federation.
The meeting was also attended by the Russian Ambassador to Uganda, Mr. Sergei Shishkin and the Head of Africa Department, Mr. Vladimir Safronkov.
Mr. Gatilov has served in the Russian government since 1972.
