President Yoweri Museveni has officially commissioned Acacia mall.

President Yoweri Museveni has officially commissioned Acacia mall located at Kololo in Kampala.

In the statement issued Thursday Knight Frank apologized to customers for “any inconvenience and look forward to seeing our shoppers and visitors once again when we resume normal operations.”

The mall that has changed the face of Kamwokya and Knight Frank estimates that its clientele base hits 100,000 residents of Kololo, Nakasero, Industrial area, Kamwokya, Nakawa, Mulago, Kitante, Bukoto, Ntinda, Kiwatule and Naguru.  These people are Uganda’s top class, diplomats and expatriates who can spend Sh700, 000 on shopping.

KCCA officials told New Vision that the glitzy vertical designed mall belongs to Gulfstream Investments Uganda Ltd, which is a subsidiary company of the Mukwano Group of Companies.

With a 400 car park space, the mall has attracted so many tenants, who tap on the business flow that the mall provides.

Some of the tenants include dealers in fast foods industry such as the Kentucky Fried Chicken of USA (KFC) and Caffeserrie. There is also the Century Cinemax, Le Patiserrie, Misty’s Bar (a franchise from Zambia), J & Kainembabazi Ltd, Age Safaris, Definition, and Sparkles Salon.

Some players in the banking sector have also booked space for ATM services.
