AFTER running up and down to clear the Radio and Weasel show, KIBO Media the promoters of the Amaaso Concert have been cleared by Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).

The promoters were given two hours to clear in order to be given a permit for their Hotel Africana concert slated for tonight.

The promoter held a closed meeting with KCCA in which they agreed to clear the requirements they had not fulfilled.

The KCCA Public Health team backed by the enforcement team inspected the site to ensure that the show requirements which include sanitation facilities, parking space and kitchen were in good condition.

However during inspection two Vision Group photographers were thrown out by KCCA officers and were almost detained by hotel management.

The KCCA spokesperson Peter Kaujju confirmed that the after inspection the show was allowed to take place after the requirements were met.

The promoters had not submitted their traffic follow management plan, parking space, sanitation requirements and toilet facilities.

The celebrated musical duo, were set to treat their fans to a two-in-one album launch dubbed 'Amaaso-Ntunga Concert' in Kampala.

KCCA's intervention would have been a huge blow for Radio and Weasel and its huge fan base.
