NRM chief political mobiliser, Richard Todwong, has assured National Resistance Movement (NRM) members in the diaspora that there is no bad blood between the  party chairman President Yoweri Museveni and secretary general, Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi.

In his message to the NRM diaspora, Todwong who is also minister without portfolio said President Museveni and Amama Mbabazi were still working together. He stressed that the NRM national leadership was determined to push the party forward.

Todwong who was recently endorsed by the party leadership to assist Mbabazi with the party’s political mobilization told the members that media reports portraying the two party leaders as 'fighting' were false and only aimed at tarnishing the party’s image.

Through Peter Mashate, the secretary general NRM diaspora league, Todwong said there was no contradiction between President Museveni and Priemier Mbabazi saying the cohesion glue of NRM is the ideology and common goal of total liberation underpinned by constitutionalism and rule of law.

Mashate delivered Todwong’s message  during a meeting for NRM in diaspora league members in Sweden, Norway, Scandinavia, Colorado and Boston.

Todwong urged the members to be strong and united in the face of gross disinformation by what he called the NRM detractors.

The NRM in diaspora league has vowed to continue their mobilization campaign tour to popularize  the Kyakwanzi resolution endorsing President Museveni for 2016 polls.
