Women are truly superior

Happy Women’s Day. While putting final touches to my first love publication recently, I realised what a blessing you women have been to me.

In appreciation, I decided to give you a gift, but the public order management law wouldn’t allow us to congregate in some place for the handover ceremony.

So, I gave it to my woman as your representative.

From my book, I realised how powerful women are.
Don’t listen to crap about just one day for women; all days belong to them! I know they suffer birth pangs, can’t fight men, don’t tolerate each other, don’t become Catholic priests and stuff like that, but if you aggregate women as a whole, they are great, if not superior to men. And what a day for me to tell you why!

Women live longer than men. In Uganda, their life expectancy is 62.17. When we men add ours of 57.57, we drag the national average down to 58.67.

Women were designed to have more body fat and less muscle mass than men. This disadvantages them from physical strength, but helps them save energy since fatty tissue needs far fewer calories to maintain.

In an unfortunate starvation time, a woman will not only need fewer calories to run her system, but she will also have a calorie bank. Fats are converted into calories when the body is in need.

So, if a man and a woman were starved, the man would die about two days earlier than a woman.
The fats also make them softer, patient, more able to persevere, emotional and nurturing.

Let us compare their brains. The male brain is specialised. Each horizon has specific roles to perform and that’s why when men focus on missions, they don’t want interruptions.

That is why they perfect their psychomotor skills. A female brain is integrated. Each horizon can do what the other does. So in case of a stroke, one side of the brain can shut down, but the other will still take the woman on sufficiently. But a man will lose some body functions.

That is also why females appreciate colour better, have better memories, (even of words, faces and phone numbers), make better spies, are cleaner, instinctive and multi-task perfectly.

And I don’t mean just the ability to make love, suckle the child as they search through radio stations at the same time, but the capability to process different types of information all at once.

When a woman is busy talking to her friend on phone, don’t gossip about her; she will hear you. But a man has to first lose attention from one thing in order to follow another.

From your simple biology, you know women have XX chromosomes. The two X chromosomes provides a huge health advantage because one can bail out the other if it turns out deficient. X-linked diseases, such as colour blindness, haemophilia and Duchenne’s disease (a severe recessive X-linked form of disease that weakens muscles) are caused by mutations on the X chromosome and nearly always affects only men.

If only one X is ‘healthy’, it can prevent such diseases. Males, however, have one X and if it happens to be ‘sick’, there will be no back-up.

And don’t forget their secret weapon, oestrogen, the hormone that gives them an edge in fighting infections and tolerating pain.

For God so loved you, women, that He gave you His son, Hilary Joseph Bainemigisha.
