Bushenyi Teachers College student murdered

A 23-year-old student of Bushenyi Core Primary Teachers College has been found murdered in a swamp near Bushenyi town.  
 
Phillip Nuwagira’s body was discovered in Kacura swamp in Bushenyi Municipality on Sunday by children who had gone to collect water.
 
Richard Anyama, the DPC Bushenyi said Nuwagira could have been murdered by assailants who first beat him up, tied his legs with a rope before dumping him in a swamp. The deceased disappeared on Tuesday last week.
 
Rev Nathan Rwankore, the father of the deceased said his son was in his last semester pursuing a certificate in primary teaching.
