Museveni urges Church to set a good example

President Yoweri Museveni has advised born-again church leaders to be exemplary spiritually so that their believers can learn from them.

MBARARA - President Yoweri Museveni has advised born-again church leaders to be exemplary spiritually so that their believers can learn from them.
 
President Yoweri Museveni said this when he attended Christmas service at Daystar Cathedral a Pentecostal Church in Mbarara Municipality Mbarara district. 
 
The President was accompanied by his wife Janet Museveni.
 
He also told them to advise their worshipers in a comprehensive way to work. The President also warned pastors against discouraging people from going to the hospital saying he would arrest those involved in the act.
 
The President donated sh80million towards the construction of a shs8billion Daystar Cathedral project and support for Daystar Cathedral SACCO.
 
Bishop Nathan Ibrahim, of Daystar Cathedral, requested the President to always identify himself with born-again churches. He also requested the President to pay similar visits to all born-again churches.
 
They vowed to keep praying for him and supporting his government which they said allowed them freedom of worship. They commended him for supporting born-again churches which were persecuted by past governments.
