KAMPALA - Christians have been cautioned against adoring political leaders but instead turn to God.

Delivering his Christmas sermon at Watoto central, Pastor Calvin Oule said it’s only God the King of kings (Christ)  who can deliver people from the bondage of slavery and problems than politicians.

“The best gift you can give to Jesus this Christmas is by giving your life to Christ and stop bowing to power, sex and alcohol,” Pastor Oule said.

At Watoto church North, Pr. Godson Sebuguzi in his sermon urged Ugandans to give their lives to Jesus Christ saying it is the best gift they can give to him.

“You can’t give him money because he is never broke,” he said.

He urged them to choose Jesus. “In this world we live for a short time we are in transit."

Sebuguzi who is the regional/Zonal Pastor Watoto church north added that; “Jesus is more than ready to come into your life once you make the decision, Christmas is about mending fences with God”.

This year’s Christmas message across Watoto church was themed: ‘Who is Jesus?'
