3 dead, 40 injured in Mpigi accident

Three people have died on spot and 40 others injured in a fatal accident at Katende in Mpigi district along Masaka Road.

The accident involving seven vehicles occurred Wednesday morning.

According to Mpigi Police Traffic Officer, Duncan Michael Ensinikweri, the injured have been rushed to various hospitals as investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
