LWERA - Several passengers were injured in a road accident at Lwera along Kampala-Masaka high way.
The tragedy was caused by a huge smoke bellowing from nearby burning bushes that clouded the road way, making it difficult for drivers to see their direction.
Visibility turned to near-zero on a highway notorious for hosting several deadly accidents. No deaths were reported.
One person fainted after inhaling the smoke, and others developed difficulties in breathing.
