Three arrested for mob justice in Moyo

A 64-year-old man in Hweyo village, Pamujo Parish, Metu Sub County in Moyo district has been killed by a mob which suspected him of practicing witchcraft

A 64-year-old man in Hweyo village, Pamujo Parish, Metu Sub County in Moyo district has been killed by a mob which suspected him of practicing witchcraft.

 

According to Arua One Radio, Geoffrey Ndede, was killed on Wednesday evening after an angry mob of about three hundred people descended on him with various objects and killed him.

 

The mob accused Ndede of turning into dog which was terrorizing and killing people in the area.

 

When Police rushed to the area, they found the mob had dispersed but they still managed to arrest three people who are now helping in the investigation.
